Mum & Me

There Is no better feeling than finding the perfect location to capture a family. This location is right on my doorstep and when I was given the opportunity to do a mum & me shoot I just knew this would be the perfect spot. The fields are full of wildflowers and the girls who I was photographing were the perfect clients for the setting.

The wildflowers suited everything from their clothing to the flowers in Lily's hair. The slight Breeze was used to my advantage and created movement in my still images. The love between them was natural and this made for a beautiful shoot.

Id consider my editing style quite Boho & Vintage, I created a hue in some of my images by taping flowers to my lens and it worked really well in contrast to the skin tones and the finer details of the face like the freckles.

Anywhere where the children can enjoy a walk picking flowers and chatting seem to be so good for a family shoot, the girls really enjoyed creating their own bouquet of flowers. It helped them realx and they enjoyed showing me what they had found. I was able to get some really beautiful natural shots of them just enjoying themselves.
